The evaluation of Ethos’s activity report covering the year 2017 to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) is now available. As every year, the result of the assessment in which 1462 organizations participated places Ethos among the world leaders in sustainable finance with scores well above the median in all 6 dimensions analyzed, in 3 of which Ethos even received the best possible evaluation (A+).

In particular, the strong sustainability values enshrined in the charter of Ethos Foundation since its inception in 1997 and the implementation of Ethos’ 8 principles for Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) within all of its investment funds made it possible to obtain the best rating (A+) in the main module entitled "Strategy and Governance". Ethos’ investment funds are open to both institutional and retail investors.

The positive impact of Active Ownership activities, namely voting at shareholder general meetings and engagement with listed companies on environmental, social and good governance issues, was also recognized with an A+ rating. Ethos' transparency reflected in the publication of its annually updated voting guidelines, as well as the publication of all its voting recommendations for shareholder general meetings, also distinguishes Ethos from most other signatories.

In 2017, PRI members had for the first time the opportunity to report in accordance with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations on how climate change issues are managed. Ethos did so voluntarily and even published its responses.

The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) were launched in 2006 by investors with the support of the United Nations. They aim to unite signatory investors around 6 principles for responsible investment as defined by the PRI and to push for implementation of the principles.
